Can you coordinate with my mortgage adviser if they need information from you?
Yes, if you have a preferred mortgage adviser, we will happily work with them. If you don’t have one, we can arrange a meeting with an adviser via our principal firm, Family Capital.
What happens if my planner leaves the firm?
If your adviser or planner leaves the firm, we will introduce you to another qualified member of our team. They will be fully briefed on your financial situation and objectives, so you can continue your relationship with Cadence without disruption.
Can I see an example of a financial plan?
Yes, we’ll run through an example plan during your first meeting. This allows you to see the level of detail and clarity you can expect, and helps you understand how our advice is structured to meet your personal financial goals.
Will I be able to see the value of my investments online?
Yes. Through our Cadence Wealth Portal, you will have a clear and up-to-date view of your entire financial picture in one place. This state-of-the-art platform allows you to track your investments, monitor performance, and access important documents whenever you need them.
Do you provide an online portal for clients to view their investments?
Yes. The Cadence Wealth Portal is available to all clients. You can access it securely here to view your investments, review financial plans, and stay informed about your financial position at any time.
How often will I meet with my adviser or planner?
We aim to meet clients at least once a year, either face-to-face or online, depending on your preference. These meetings provide an opportunity to review your progress, discuss any changes in your circumstances, and update your financial plan to keep it aligned with your goals.
Can you advise on mortgages?
We are not currently authorised to provide mortgage advice directly. However, this can be provided via our principal firm, Family Capital.
Can you advise on equity release?
No, we do not provide advice on equity release. For these services, our clients can be referred to trusted specialists via Family Capital, who can give professional guidance where needed.
Can you advise on personal pensions?
Yes. We provide guidance on personal pensions, helping you understand your options, contribution strategies, and the long-term implications for your retirement planning.
Can you advise on occupational pensions?
We can provide advice on all types of pensions; however, we’re not qualified to give guidance on occupational pension transfers. If you require advice in this area, we will refer you to a trusted partner firm that specialises in this type of transfer.
Can you help me consolidate multiple pensions?
Yes. We can help you review and consolidate multiple pensions into a clear, manageable plan, allowing you to see your overall retirement position more clearly.
Can you help me take my pension tax-efficiently?
Yes. Our financial planners provide guidance on how to access your pension in a way that is tax-efficient, helping you maximise your retirement income while considering your individual circumstances and objectives.
