Craig Fitzsimons

Director

At work

Craig is a Chartered accountant with more than 20 years of experience across finance, accounting, and director-level roles, during which he oversaw and appraised more than 40 acquisitions.

Craig has more recently focused on consulting for financial adviser firms and wealth planners. He previously held SMF2 and SMF3 roles for Schroders Plc subsidiaries under Benchmark Capital Limited.

Day to day, Craig is involved in the stewardship of the business and the outcomes delivered to clients, maintaining oversight of all financial and regulatory matters to help the firm grow in a safe, sustainable way.

He holds a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute and will begin working with clients in 2026 to further enhance their planning experience.

In Craig's spare time

Craig lives in Sussex with his partner, Lucy. They’ve recently taken on a home with plenty of outdoor space, which means he’s now learning the art (and patience) of gardening while getting involved in local community initiatives.

Football is his long-standing sporting passion, but age and injuries have nudged him off the pitch and onto a bike instead – a move he admits is mostly about staying fit!

Craig is also a keen DIYer, always ready to roll up his sleeves and tackle whatever needs improving or fixing around the house.

Get to know Craig

On an ideal weekend, you can find me…

Spending time with family and friends, having a Sunday lunch, or taking a city break to somewhere I haven’t explored before – especially if there’s good food involved.

My favourite song to play in the car is…

‘Pacific State’ by 808 State.

If I could be any fictional character, I would be…

Neo from The Matrix – that looks like fun!

When the dessert menu arrives, I’m looking for…

Cheesecake, any style will do.

Dream holiday destination?

Greece – the food, beaches, history, and especially the people make it the best place in the world for me.

The three small things that make my day better are…

A cup of tea, a smile from a loved one, and garden birds singing.
